Zerox Printer 6125

The Xerox Phaser 6125 printer was created for home and office use, and for persons who simply need to print colored materials fast and easy. In this sense, the Xerox Phaser 6125printer matches all of these needs, and offer qualitative results as well.

Another asset of this printer is the small size of 398 x 400 x 394 mm, which will not require a large storage space, and will integrate well into the home or small office space. Other features include USB ports and Ethernet, which will provide connections to a computer or network. There is also an LCD screen that ensures easy handling of the options, it is mono colored, and its menu is accessible to all users. Sometimes the network you connect this printer to will not auto connect to it, this is why you might need to manually insert the IP address yourself. However, this will not get too much in the way of benefiting from the Xerox Phaser 6125 printer amenities.

According to its home and office purpose of use, the Xerox Phaser 6125 offers a good printing quality, however it does not exceed other printers. The printed material will not lose their texts accuracy, the colors will not mix with each other, nor will the photos be unclear. There might be some color flaws, but they will not be observable at a first look. In tests that have been made to see if the printer offer these color accuracies, it has been discovered a slight red shade on some pictures. There is also an option for printing envelopes, and the process will be flawless as well.

The text printing speed is lower than other printers’ (9.1 ppm), however it will prove to be surprisingly fast in printing colored images (6.6 ppm). The secret in this 6.6 ppm printing speed, comes from the singe-pass engine model. However, there are other laser printers that will prove to be even faster than that. There will be 20 seconds waiting time in order to print a single page of text.

The costs of printing with the Xerox Phaser 6125 will be a bit higher compared to other printers’, one page of mixed color will cost up to 10.9p, which is comprised of 1.9p for mono elements and 9p costs for color per page. Another problem will be that of the drum, that can’t be replaced and can print only 30,000 pages. The toner also can be replaced quite often if you undergo a lot of printing as well. An amount of 500 black and color pages can be printed using half of a toner. There are two types of toner cartridges, one that can print up to 2,000 pages, and the second of 1,000 pages printing capacity.

As an alternative for the Xerox Phaser 6125 printer, you can choose the TallyGenicom’s 8108N, which will cost £20 less, and is faster than the Xerox Phaser 6125. The later will be satisfactory for users that don’t have to print many pages, or don’t need to use a printer very often.
