The HP Officejet Pro K8600DN color inkjet offers wide-format printing options, which means it can print larger documents than the standard ones. You will also benefit from the qualitative business-like printing options that function with the economical inks, and at amazing speeds. The rate of printing is 13.8 pages per minute (ppm), which is very fast for any inkjet on the market at the moment. The color documents will be printed at 2.6 ppm or 4.1 ppm. These values were established for the letter-size paper, while the wide-format media was not yet tested by us, but we guess it would be slower than the other smaller paper format printing.




The HP Officejet Pro K8600DN inkjet printer proved more performing than other printers of its class that we have tested. The images made on plain paper proved to be very clear and good, while the text has good color intensity, which is comparable with the laser standards. You will find out that even the less visible lines from texts will appear clearly on the pages printed with the HP Officejet Pro K8600DN printer. If you decide to use HP’s photo paper, you will be surprised by the poor quality these papers have, the images printed looking a little dark and the details lose their accuracy in print.

Behind the front-panel door you will find the ink tanks which can be loaded through some bays. The standard-size tank costs around $15 or $20, and has a very long life, printing from 830 to 1070 pages.
