Hewlett Packard Inkjet Printers
With certainty everyone had heard about the HP company, also known as Hewlett-Packard, or some other important names in the computer industry such as Sony, Samsung, Canon or Epson.
We may use some of their electronic products for our daily activities but it also happens that except their popular names and highly appreciated computer-related devices, we do not know much about them and some of us feel indifferent of learning some things about these manufacturers history.

But since our main interest in this article are the HP printers, of different types, all-in-ones, single-function laser jet and mostly single-function inkjet, I consider as highly important to start with a little history about how the HP manufacturer began its existence, becoming today one of the leading names in the technological and electronics industry.
The HP company had a modest start in the late 1930’s, established by two recent graduate students from engineering, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard. Packard’s garage was the ideal place of turning their ideas into reality, with a modest capital investment of 538 US dollars and a lot of hope. Not only did they achieved an immense success and popularity but today Hewlett-Packard specializes in the manufacturing, the developing, the designing and the marketing of their products, especially the computer components and parts and related devices such as the scanners, printers or the all-in-ones, for specific tasks, software, hardware and data storage electronic devices.
Each one of their products has distinguishable features that make them different from all the other series and this applies also for the Hewlett-Packard inkjet or laser jet printers. On HP official internet homepage we can find all the available products for sale categorized depending on their usage and brand, or other main features, such as wireless or with wires, portable or with a wide format, etc.
Some of the most popular inkjet printers are listed below, in no particular order, with their most important features attached. Among them all the HP Designjet T1200 44inch PostScript Version Printer has to be one of the most expensive HP single-function inkjet printers, using the HP 72 inks and printing pages of D/A1 sizes in less than 30 seconds, making it ideal for supporting two on-line roll sheets of 44 to 66 inch wide at one time and it is ideal for the medium-size teams that need high-quality technical GIS/CAD.
The HP Deskjet D1660 printer, with a 15-sheet output tray and 80-sheet fold-up input tray, has speeds up to 16 pages per minute in color and 20 in black; it is made of 25% recycled plastic compared with the HP Deskjet D2660 printers made of 50% recycled plastic, with a easy Web-page printing and 20-sheet output tray, 80-sheet fold-up input tray and speeds up to 21 pages per minute in color and 28 in black.

The HP Deskjet D2680 printer has similar features to the HP Deskjet D2660, including a Budget Express software while the HP Business Inkjet 2800dtn Printer has four individual cartridges and an extra tray, an automatic two-sided printing feature and easy integration into any environment.

The HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless printer has an automatic two-sided printing feature using 50% less energy than the laser printers, with speeds up to 35 pages per minute in color and 36 black; the HP Photosmart B8550 Photo Printer has a 2.4″ color display for easy photo review and editing, having memory card slots and a front USB port but also a photo tray with an HP Smart Web printing and HP Auto Sense technology, using individual inks.

The HP Designjet T770 44 inch Printer has a fast printing feature of Ai/D size pages in less than 28 seconds, supporting rolls 11–44″ wide and sheets of 8.3–44″ wide.
The offers are numerous and the important thing is to choose the one perfect for your professional or business needs; the great advantage of being able to view the products on the official site is that you can learn more things about their features but also compare prices.
