Good Cheap Laser Printers
HP’s Laser Jet Pro P1102w and Brother HL-2270DW are just two of many other laser printers priced between $100 – $150. Featured with wireless technology, the two systems are able to develop incredible networking performances that lead to a better efficiency. Also, the systems process tens of pages per minute and use pretty high resolutions so you can get the clearest image possible. Another important thing you should know about the two machines is that they are dedicated for document printing only.
The first printer, HP’s Laser Jet Pro P1102w, measures 7.6 inches height, 13.7 inches width and 8.8 inches depth, and weights 11.6 lbs, which means that you can lay it even on a desk. Concerning its speed, we mention that the printer is able to process up to 19 pages per minute in black and white mode, using at the same time 600 x 600 dpi resolution.

Its input paper capacity allows you to use up to 150 sheets, while the output one up to 100 sheets.
On the other hand, the system comes with a USB 2.0 port and a 8 MB memory, while the productivity is given by a 5,000-page monthly duty cycle. As we mentioned above, the printer uses a 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi wireless and to use it you must operate Windows Server 2003 or later, or Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5 and 10.6.
Unlike the first model, the Brother HL-2270DW printer provides a superior performance. More exactly, the machine is able to print up to 27 pages per minute using a 2400 x 600 dpi resolution. Just like the HP system, this one only features black and white mode, which means that you can forget about color printing.
