hi well i am now entering university and i am looking for a small near printer for myself. I am fascinated with the printer because its a multi function and unlike other photocopier ones ive seen, that can only photocopy single pages, this one can photocopy pages from a book, so its perfect for me at university!!! :)

The other amazing thing about this printer (besides the speed and unheard of low selling price) is the cost of operation. Color prints for $0.06 per page, mono (black) text for $0.02 per page. That's a five factor price reduction from what you pay now!

Oh yeah, but what about quality you ask? It does that too- how does 1600dpi sound?

The problem with this printer is that it only comes with enough ink to print 5 photos!!! Then you have to buy their very expensive ink kit that makes the prints as expensive as an 8x10. Kodak found a way to rip everyone off. Don't give this as a gift without buying the ink "kit" to go with it.

As I was reading this review, I was thinking to myself, "Darn, a bargain, but I suppose one gets what one pays for." Then I remembered I'm not replacing my printer/scanner/copier, I just wanted a cheap fax machine to send stuff out to a couple of clients who don't have email yet (yes they must live under rocks - LOL). So, aside from the speed issue and print quality, I'm pretty satisfied with this machine, considering the odd time I'll be using it anyway.
