Let's imagine that your toner cartridges are now empty, because you have used your color laser printer too much and because they must be replaced from time to time, even if they are not empty. So even if they are not necessarily empty, they must be replaced, because the substances that are inside the toner cartridges will not provide the same color quality and if you work in a company where the quality is everything, your manager might not like it.

I don't have to tell you that when you remain without a certain color or without black in your laser printer, you must get to the seller from where you have bought the printer in the first instance, because only the seller can tell you what is the most suitable toner cartridge for your printer. If you have a printer that was manufactured 10 years ago, you have all the chances in the world to not find a toner cartridge that is appropriate for your printer. I don't know why they do this, but they stop manufacturing toner cartridges that are requested less and less. It is natural, but if you have a printer that works fine, even if it has 10 years of usage, and if you don't want to replace it with another one, my opinion is that you should be capable of replacing the toner cartridges with new ones, manufactured for the same type of printer.

I'm not saying that you should be capable of buying toners for printers that were manufactured in 1990, although this should be appropriate, because you're not obligated to change your printer, just because the manufacturer doesn't want to manufacture also other toner cartridges for that printer model. I know that they focus more on creating new technologies of printing in a better way, but they should also focus on the people that are in their customers for a long time now and they should provide them with the tools and accessories that they need.

When you get a new toner cartridge for your laser printer, you must see if the printer is compatible with that toner, or better said if the toner is compatible with the printer and if it has the same dimensions as the toner with which you replace it. You will get in vain a new toner that is created by the same manufacturer, if the toner is created for another model. This is why I have said that you must go directly to the seller, because they know better what is the toner that you need.
