I have just finished an article related to HP DeskJet 1000 printer, a printer that in my opinion uses the inkjet technology for printing documents, because I haven't found any clue on the HP.com site to show to me that the printer uses indeed this technology or the laser one (but who knows, probably I haven't searched too well), this is why right now I would like to present a printer that uses the laser technology and this is written on the HP.com site. This is written in the name of the product itself, because the printer selected for today is HP LaserJet 1010 printer.

Unfortunately, this product is not for sale anymore and if you want to receive more information about it, you just have to enter Google and type that you are interested in a product like this. The results will appear in no time. The problem is that most of the results that appear are referring to the toner cartridges that you can take for this type of printer, not to the printer itself. But because I am lucky I have found on CNET.com a review about this product. Of course, I am not able to provide you with the price for this product, because you cannot buy this product from CNET, but at least you can receive the technical specifications of the product.

The pricing is not available from any of the sellers that collaborate with CNET, simply because the product is no longer produced by HP. Probably if you want to get a product like this and if you manage to find one online, that product is most likely used or refurbished. Anyway, let's move to the technical details of the product. I will start with the printing speed, which is of up to 12 pages per minute in black and white. I don't see any printing speed related to the color technology, which makes me think that this is a monochrome printer. The maximum resolution in black and white (this is another clue that here we are talking about a monochrome printer) is of 600×600 dpi. The processor has a speed of 133 MB and the installed RAM is of 8 MB, which is more than enough for a printer that is no longer produced, because it is not technologically advanced anymore.

If 8 MB is not enough for HP, I would like to know what it is. In fact I know, because I present HP printers every day and I know that they can do more than 12 pages per minute in black and white. If you want to discover this, check our site!
